Workshop on the results of the Action Research project: “Impact of multi-stakeholder partnerships”
To mark the completion of the Action Research project, the Partnerships Resource Centre (PrC) and Partnerships2030 hosted a workshop on February 15.
At the virtual event, around 100 participants discussed experiences and insights from the project, presented instruments and methods for measuring impacts in MAPs, and described key challenges that have been identified during the project. In addition to the research team, representatives from MAPs, civil society, the federal government, business and research institutes participated.
After a joint overview of the different stages of the Action Research project, the participants divided into four groups on the topics: (1) developing ownership for monitoring, (2) working with different methods and approaches to measure impact, (3) partnership-level impact indicators, and (4) MAP’s contributions to achieving the SDGs.
In May 2020, Partnerships2030 and the PrC at Rotterdam School of Management jointly launched the “Action Research Project” with the aims of generating knowledge about the effects of MAP and developing recommendations for action. The great interest in the results confirms the relevance of this project.
Shortly, we are going to publish downloadable reports on the results of the Action Research project on this website, which are targeted at practitioners as well as academics.
