Webinar on “How to Ensure Impact With Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships in Value Chain Promotion”
Date: 04.12.2019 (2:00 – 3:30 P.M. CET)
Venue: Online
As part of the ValueLinks Plus series on agricultural value chains, this webinar on Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships was held last December. It was aimed at interested people who on the one hand promote the development of agricultural value chains and who on the other hand are interested in the multi-stakeholder approach. The webinar outlined the circumstances for successful Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships (MSPs) and pointed out various aspects to be considered when facilitating them. Participants of this webinar were able to share their knowledge about the cooperation between the private and the agricultural sector as well as experiences from working in MSPs with the audience. Sonja Lehman (GIZ-GISCO) presented for example the German Initiative on Sustainable Cocoa. Further Inputs were given by Sarah Lena Jensen (GIZ Sector Project Agricultural Trade, Agribusiness, Agricultural Finance) and Silke Peters (GIZ-Sustainable Supply Chain Initiative, INA). The webinar was organized by the GIZ Sector Project Agricultural Trade, Agribusiness, Agricultural Finance in collaboration with the SNRD Africa Working Group Agribusiness and Inclusive Value Chain Development, and the GIZ Sectoral Department (FMB).
