UPDATE: Launch of the 2030 Agenda Partnerships Accelerator

Recognizing the growing need for effective multi-stakeholder partnerships that bring together finance, knowledge, expertise and technology, the 2030 Agenda Partnerships Accelerator has been launched. The United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA) carry out the 2030 Agenda Partnership Accelerator, in collaboration with United Nations Office for Sustainable Development (UNOSD), the United Nations Office for Partnerships (UNOP), and The Partnering Initiative.

The project’s aim is to accelerate and scale-up partnerships effectively to support the achievement of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. This includes the support of country driven partnership platforms for the SDGs through research and direct support, as well as building partnership skills and competencies of relevant stakeholders to help them develop their policy, strategy, and legal agreements. Activities entail national level training workshops and online training courses, which outputs will be available in a 2030 Agenda Partnerships Accelerator Resource Library. The online library will provide a collection of learning modules, case studies on partnerships and platforms, and best practices on how to design and implement partnerships for the SDGs. For more information on the project, click here.
