Event: Partnership Exchange as part of the ECOSOC Partnership Forum
As part of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Partnership Forum 2023, the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) is organizing a virtual, English-language Partnership Exchange for member states and interested stakeholders on January 30 from 08.00 – 13.00 (EST).
The Partnership Exchange provides a space for participants to share knowledge and expertise on the design and implementation of partnerships that contribute to the achievement of the SDGs. Partnerships2030 will also be represented at this event.
The event is divided into three sessions. The first session, called “Building partnerships for unlocking financing for the SDGs” will explore the topic of financing partnerships and how they can be effectively shaped to secure investment. The second session, “Building partnerships at the country level to leverage resources from all sectors of society” focuses on building multi-stakeholder partnerships (MSP) at the national level. The last session 3 “Unleashing the creativity, knowledge and energy of youth for multi-stakeholder partnerships” focuses on working with youth and how the resulting potential and ideas can be incorporated into MSP.
