Event: Interested parties can submit their input to the ECOSOC 2023 Partnership Forum until November 25

As part of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Partnership Forum 2023, stakeholders are invited to hand in written submissions on how partnerships and stakeholder engagement can be strengthened to advance the implementation of the 2030 Agenda.

The comments, experiences and proposals received will serve as an “online consultation” for the preparation of the forum. This will be held on January 31 under the theme “Accelerating the management of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) and the full implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development at all levels.” The focus will be on sharing new ideas, expectations, and priorities for the future work of ECOSOC and the High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) on this topic. In line with the partnership approach, the event will bring together UN member states, international financial institutions, international parliamentarians, and stakeholders from civil society, the private sector, research, and other groups. The contributions to the “online consultation” are intended to provide them with input. In addition, the results of the consultation will also be incorporated into the preparations for the SDG Summit in September 2023.

Interested parties can still submit contributions here until November 25. You can also find the list of already uploaded submissions here.
